Documentation / Implementation & Verification Matrix
PROPOSED API
API specification — not a released addon. SkCine-specific syntax shown here is proposed and must be implemented and server-tested before use.

Implementation & Verification Matrix

API status — PROPOSED, NOT IMPLEMENTED. SkCine is currently a design specification in this conversation; no built SkCine.jar or syntax registry was supplied. All SkCine-specific examples are intended API contracts, not verified runnable .sk. Do not advertise these as tested until each example passes a real Skript reload and runtime test.

Definition of done for each syntax

  • [ ] Name appears in api-manifest.json with final pattern.
  • [ ] Java/Kotlin registration code compiles.
  • [ ] Target Skript parser accepts positive test.
  • [ ] Wrong type and missing argument cases fail helpfully.
  • [ ] Output type and event value contexts are verified.
  • [ ] Runtime behavior tested with actual Paper world/player when necessary.
  • [ ] Scene cleanup, reload and thread safety covered.
  • [ ] Docs example copied from verified fixture.
  • [ ] Entry status changed to verified, with SkCine release and tested versions.

Mandatory release workflows

  1. Compile Java 21 Kotlin modules.
  2. Boot Paper 1.21.11 with correct Skript.
  3. Verify SkCine registration appears with no errors.
  4. Reload each example .sk in the sample directory.
  5. Execute relevant scene flows with one/two players.
  6. Test PacketEvents installed and absent.
  7. Test logout/death/skip during camera control.
  8. Test optional newer runtime matrix under required JVM.
  9. Produce evidence and logs for supported versions.
